Here’s another weird one out of Florida. According to reports, Shakena Jefferson was shot in the head last week and was sent home with a band-aid and a bullet still lodged in her skull after doctors said the injury was just a graze.

The woman was wounded in a drive-by shooting was told she suffered a graze wound and was sent home with a bandage. It was later found out she still had a bullet lodged in her head.

Jefferson was shot in the head by a stray bullet as she walked to get groceries with her wife near their home in Southwest Miami-Dade last week.

The hospital put a band-aid over the wound after deciding it was just a graze. However the woman went back to hospital after complaining about pain for a few days.

Shakena Jefferson is currently recovering at home and is considering taking legal action against the hospital that originally discharged her.
