Terrelle Talbot | Warrants Issued for Fraud Suspect After Defrauding Banks Throughout Durham Region
Terrelle Talbot is wanted by police after he defrauded four local banks using the same fake coin scam.
According to reports, on Friday, December 20, 2019, Talbot walked into a TD Bank in Ajax and exchanged 20 paper rolls of $2 coins for cash. A short time later, metal washers were located inside the rolls, with $2 coins facing out at each end. Similar scams were run at a BMO bank in Whitby on June 29, 2019; a TD bank in Oshawa on May 13, 2019; and at a different TD branch in Oshawa on March 22, 2019.
Talbot is currently wanted throughout Canada on 22 outstanding warrants including some in BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, QC and NS. His most recent offense occurred in Toronto on January 17 2020.
Police are encouraging the man to contact a lawyer and turn himself in.
